More Than A Casserole (MTAC) Train-the-Trainer Program

We will train you with our three (3) E's method (educate, empower and engage) in helping others be proactive in getting their end-of-life affairs in order.

End-of-life care is More Than A Casserole. How often have you heard about the death of someone’s family member:
- Did you see are hear the family struggle?
- Were you able to offer support?
- Did you just pray over the family and have no more contact?
- Did you set up a meal train, and that’s it?
- Were you intentional in helping with end-of-life care?
- Did you get someone else to help, instead of offering a hand?

OUR GOAL FOR THE MTAC PROGRAM:
Educate: Teach you how to teach others about holistic support and end-of-life paperwork and planning.
Empower: Each student will plan their own funeral/memorial, eulogy, and obituary.
Engage: Have a celebration meal to celebrate you getting your end-of-life affairs in order; and having the tools needed to help others get their end-of-life affairs in order.

This program will help you be proactive, not reactive. When you finish this program, you will have your end-of-life affairs in order. You will allow your family the gift of mourning your death and not being stressed. You will honor them by giving them what they need to put you to rest.

We can either teach someone on your team to teach this program to your group, or we can come in and teach it to your group ourselves.

For more details email [email protected]. One of our instructors will be glad to get in touch with you and answer any questions you may have.

SECRET SAUCE: After you have completed this training, and taught others, your students will have the opportunity to complete the End-of-Life Peace of Mind for Your Family book. What a gift to give to your students.

Pastoral Care Beyond Prayer Video

Invite video to our informative and interactive workshop.
Pastors/church leaders learn how you can support the dying and their families.

HOW CAN YOUR CHURCH HELP THOSE THAT ARE DYING AND THEIR FAMILIES?

Everyone deserves to have support when their time is near. Even Christ wanted support as His time was near. In Matthew 26:40, Jesus asked the disciples, "Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?". Do you as a pastor or church leader feel it is important for us to provide support to those going through the dying process? Do you even know how to give support to those going through the dying process?

Often times when someone is dying, they turn to the church for holistic support (emotional, physical, psychosocial, and spiritual support), regardless of their faith background. When they get there, they will find much needed prayer, and that's all.

Does your church know how to give the dying and their family holistic support? Where can your church go to learn how to give holistic support?

Email one of our instructors at [email protected] to setup a time to talk and get the support your church need to be a help to those going through the dying process.

  • PROBLEM:
    1. Church’s are not fully equipped to help someone going through the dying process. They are not sure how they can be a support to the dying where they are.
    2. God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Some church leaders fear talking to their congregation about the dying process. They don't know what to say. They are uncomfortable being around the dying.
    3. People don’t even know they can go to the church to find support for themselves while they are going through the dying process.

  • CRY FOR HELP:
We have heard from many pastors and church leaders. They want to know how they can be more effective in serving those going through the dying process and their families. They want to do more, but not sure what yo do. Some have gone to seminary or theology school, and have graduated with no skills on how to support those going through the dying process. Their hearts bleed to give more support to those that are going through the dying process in their churches and communities.

  • SOLUTION:
Out Pastoral Care Beyond Prayer (PCBP) program and More Than A Casserole (MTAC) will provide church leaders with the guidance they need to effectively give holistic support to the dying and their families. We will do this through courses, giving the tools needed, empowering church leaders to support with confidence, coaching and mentoring.
